What part of the personality of you character would you like to have? 

Sam: I don’t know, I am the prince charming! 

Kristen: Playing a person who is light….The reason this movie is relevent is because we want to be them. I Want to be selfless. I want to be a good person Sam: You already are

Is there is some dream you wanna see come true? 

Kristen: No I feel like I’ve been challenged. I’m very happy w/ what I have accomplished. My family is healthy. I am happy

Sam: This is like a dream. I am in Mexico promoting a movie.

Kristen: I’ve known about Grimm fairytales since I was young….It was rediscovering the story and adding to it. I didn’t have a connection with snow white when I was a kid.

Diferences between the original story and this one? Sam: I think Prince Charming/ William is the most different from the original story.

Kristen: Without sounding pretencious, this is a very modern story, Snow White has to work hard, she is the classic SW but in a modern world. Kristen: Its really hard being specific. I always want to go back to the day before. Its like that convo in Bridesmaid. If you have seen it. The speech scene affected me.

Sam: “I am new to this game, and I am excited to see what challenges lie ahead”

If you would like to know what would happen to other characters post the movie? 

Kristen: It would be Mallory in Welcome to the Riley. 

Sam: It would be my character in this movie. We left it really open.

What does a script have to have for you to say yes? 

Kristen: I have to be character that I can defend. It has to feel real. “Unless you do the job right, you’re depriving the entire world of knowing this person”. We have a huge pressure. We can either bring a person to life or kill them. 

Sam: I want to have the chance to show a different person from myself. 

Kristen: Actors have to add themselves into the character. The reason Sam is goo in this movie its because youre cool

Of all the actors youve worked with, who has influenced you? 

Kristen: I met a few people that do the job for the same reason I work. I worked with Jodie Foster. I learned really young about a good work ethic from her. Charlize she does the things for herself. 

Sam: There a lot of actors that are like Dont look at me, and really unapproachable. Working with Penelope Cruz who is awesome. Everyone is here to do the best job they can. The dwarves were fantastic. I never felt out of place on set. We felt like a family. I been very lucky.

Sam Claflin & Liberty Ross Talk about Kristen's Accent

YahooUK At the Snow White and the Huntsman premiere last night, Kristen Stewart's co-star Sam Claflin, who plays the heartthrob prince, spoke to omg! We asked if the British actor helped K-Stew in perfecting her British accent to which he replied:

"I didn't need to give her any tips, I think she had Rob to help with that." Liberty Ross who plays K-Stew's on screen mother, Queen Eleanor, told us: "Kristen's accent is very sweet, I like it."

Sam Claflin mentions SWATH, Kristen & Rob in a new interview with Elle UK (June issue)

You worked closely with Kristen Stewart on Snow White...How was it to be so near that level of fame?

Sam: Awkward! [Laughs] I know it's quite hard for her to have a normal life, to go to the shops in the afternoon, and I'm blessed that at the moment I still live an absolutely regular life. get to stay mysterious.

Who do you compare yourself to?

Sam: I can't help but compare myself to Eddie Redmayne. I was actually up for My Week with Marilyn, but when I saw the script, I just knew he was right for it. My first ever job was with Eddie [in The Pillars of the Earth] and I've witnessed him grow as an actor - he looks so at home, it all seems to come very easily for him. He's friendly with Andrew Garfield and Robert Pattinson and he's the next one of their group to come through. When I go to LA, don't really have that group of friends who I can talk to and who are going through the same sort of things as me - it's quite tough.

Teen.com's Interview with Sam Claflin on set of SWATH

Teen.com: So, you play a prince. Sexy. How’d you get yourself into the royal state of mind?
Sam Claflin: Well, I haven’t been in any throne rooms. I’ve been on horseback or in the woods. So, for me personally it’s kind of…it’s hard to explain without giving too much away… (my character is) trying to be somebody else. I’m trying not to be who my father wants me to be and try to be a better person, so there’s not necessarily too many princely duties I have to fulfill luckily.

Teen.com: You know princes are kinda huge now after the whole Royal Wedding thing…
Sam: Yeah. Funnily enough, on my trailer it says Prince William, so it’s kind of nice to start every morning waking up like, “Yes! I married Kate Middleton.”

Teen.com: Haha! Do you have a favorite fairytale prince?
Sam: That’s a good question. I suppose I used to always read “Jack and the Beanstalk.” I was always sort of obsessed with Jack. I think from my interpretation, the name Jack is a very cheeky guy. Like jack the lad, you don’t know the expression, but I always liked the thought that there was a cheeky guy who climbed up a beanstalk and did that sort of stuff.

Teen.com: Ok, let’s talk about Kristen Stewart. What’d you know about her before meeting her?

Sam: I knew of her. Everyone in the world does. But no. I knew of her and I’m a big fan of everything she’s involved with up until now. The first time I met her we kind of had a talk. We realized we have a lot of things in common. We like the same sort of music. We have a few friends in common. Yeah, small world. It’s such a small world.

Sam Claflin Talks about Music and Mutual Friends, Mentions Rob & Kristen

Sam Claflin is one of Kristen Stewart's two leading men in the upcoming Snow White and the Huntsman, which hits theaters June 1. We stopped by the London set of SWATH in October to sit down with the cast and crew and learn a little bit more about the highly anticipated dark retelling of a classic fairy tale. Sam, who plays Prince William in the film, is relatively new to the big screen after making his debut in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides last year. While on the SWATH set, Sam shared this cute story about having the same taste in music as Kristen and a connection they made through a favorite singer:

"There is a guy called Marcus Foster. Basically a guy played at my birthday, this sort of big musician who I love, and I went to go and see him at another gig, and supporting him was Marcus Foster. So, I went backstage and to meet Marcus, and he was telling me about this music video that he's about to do that Kristen [Stewart] had just starred in. Then when I saw Kristen next, I said, 'I can't believe you did that. You know him and he knows you, and he knows Rob [Pattinson].' So, again, it's all this small world. So namely him, but I think -- I have a feeling our sort of music tastes are very much in tune."

Sam Claflin talks about his 'Snow White and Huntsman' costar, Kristen;

"She's lovely, a very talented girl," he told us. "Meeting her was one of those moments where I was expecting her to be a certain way, but she's a normal girl." 

"We have the same tastes in music so that's good - it's not all about acting. She's my age which is cool. But we haven't yet had that much time off-set together."

Sam Claflin Talks About Kristen and Snow White

 Kristen Stewart will do a "diamond job" in Snow White and the Hunstman, says her co-star Sam Claflin.

"I've only done one tiny scene with Kristen so far, but I have every hope in her," Claflin said. "I truly believe and trust in her and I'm pretty sure she'll do an absolutely diamond job of it.


I'm pretty sure she's excited about the challenge." 

Clafin insisted that he isn't concerned about the other Snow White movie, adding that two similar stories can exist side-by-side.

He explained: "They're two completely different projects altogether. As much as they've obviously got the same premise, you could say that about so many things. The Hangover and The Inbetweeners, for example, are different films but basically about boys going out and getting drunk

"The beautiful thing is I think both directors have very different ideas of where they're going with it. I have a friend whose in the other one so it's nice that we keep each other updated. I'm excited to see that one as much as I'm excited to see the one I'm in."

Sam Claflin Talks More About Kristen Stewart and 'Snow White and The Huntsman'

MySpace.com You have ‘Snow White and the Huntsmen,’ (opposite Kristen Stewart) how did that come about?
Well, I auditioned for it a while ago, but it just became sort of official like not yesterday, but the day before. I found out a while ago but the offer was there and I’m, you know, very excited about getting sort of my teeth stuck into something new as well.

When you audition for these big parts, are there kind of a group of guys that you know are also going to end up reading for it?
I’ve never bumped into another guy. But Max Irons is a guy I keep sort of seeing around and as much as I love him, I hate him because he usually beats me to it, but I know he’s an incredible actor and I’m honored to know that I’m even being considered next to him, you know, and it’s, I’m very lucky to sort of be in these rooms with these amazing actors, you know. I’m very, very blessed.

What about actresses that you’ve screen tested with?
I’ve screen tested with Amanda Seyfried during ‘Red Riding Hood.’ And Astrid, and I think, that’s it, really.

You didn’t with Kristen for ‘Snow White’?
No. No. I didn’t. Unfortunately not.

Movieline Lastly, regarding Snow White and the Huntsman: Have you yet met with Kristen Stewart?
No!

So there was no chemistry read, you were cast separately for your roles?
No, but from my understanding she seems like an absolute legend of a girl. I have a friend who worked with her, my friend Eddie Redmayne, and he says she’s really down to earth, really talented. She’s so talented, I’m a big fan of hers. So fingers crossed there’ll be chemistry. But no, I didn’t have the opportunity to meet her, which is a bit of a shame.
