Tom Sturridge Explains Why He Won't Discuss Rob

He refuses point blank, to talk about his girlfriend, Sienna Miller, or Robert Pattinson, his childhood friend.
"When you agree to be interviewed, it's an opportunity to review your own moronic-ness" he says. "It's OK if I come across as a complete idiot, but it's not fair for me to describe or refer to anyone else. Anyone can be tainted by my mention of them".

Tom Sturridge Talks about Working with Kristen: "She's an extraordinary actress"

 Tom Sturridge recently talked about his forthcoming movie On The Road and now he has praised his On The Road co star, who is none other than his best friend Robert Pattinson’s girlfriend Kristen Stewart. Tom also admitted that it was a joy to work with a familiar face.

Sturridge explained, “It was so terrifying entering into that world and what was great was just having someone that I knew and actually working with her. She's just a f**king extraordinary actress, just really, really extraordinary and it's astonishing just to see her do her job.”

He then added, “It was genuinely, one of the deepest working experiences I've ever had. It was extraordinary.” Tom Sturridge can be seen on the big screen alongside Kristen Stewart, as well as Garrett Hedlund, when On The Road is released next year.

Tom Sturridge Talks about His Experience Filming "On The Road"

 British actor Tom Sturridge has revealed how he really enjoyed working on the movie On The Road, especially getting to work with director Walter Salles. Tom also admitted that the film took a very long time to shoot, considering there were no major stunts or explosions involved.
Sturridge explained, “It was extraordinary, just taking on that seminal book and doing it with Walter Salles, who, in my mind, is one of the best 50 directors alive. I’ll give you the full list, if you want. It was incredibly intense and long. We shot for six months. It’s quite unusual for a film that doesn’t have car explosions and stunt set pieces to shoot for such a long time.”
 
He added, “We genuinely spent six months doing scenes every day. That sounds stupid, but in most films that take six months you’re actually spending four weeks getting to go [starts mock fighting]. It was amazing.” Tom Sturridge can be seen, alongside Kristen Stewart, Garrett Hedlund and Kirsten Dunst, when On The Road is released next year.

What was your favourite place you visited in the USA?

I did a roadtrip from LA to New Orleans. And it was one of the best experiences in my life.
