Robert Pattinson has sent Reese Witherspoon some glow-in-the-dark exercise clothes.

The British actor was concerned after hearing his 'Water For Elephants' co-star had been hit by a car while out jogging, so splashed out on a special gift to ensure she doesn't suffer the same fate again.

The parcel contained reflective vests, wrist bands, tennis shoes and a hat - all of which were designed by Stella McCartney - and was sent to the actress'house along with a note wishing her a speedy recovery.

A source told National Enquirer magazine: "Reese was very touched by Rob's gesture. "She intends to keep running and the gear will come in very handy when it's dark outside." Read the rest here

In the meantime, Stewart’s not-Twilight career hasn’t been as promising as her co-star and real-life boyfriend’s so far. Her 2010 film The Runaways grossed only $4.6 million at the box office. But there’s still hope for Stewart: next month she will be seen in cinemas playing the leading role in the film Snow White and the Huntsman.

Some Major Anticipated Movies Of 2012: SWATH and Breaking Dawn Part 2 Mentioned

HOLLYWOOD—The year 2011 isn’t over yet, but the sleuth of trailers and teasers being released for movies in the year 2012 has many movie enthusiasts counting the days until the release of some of the most anticipated films of next year.

Next year we’ll see two different versions of Snow White; one starring Academy Award winner Julia Roberts “Snow White 3D” and the other starring Academy Award winner Charlize Theron in “Snow White and the Huntsman.” Spider-Man returns to the screen after a five-year hiatus in “The Amazing Spider-Man” starring Andrew Garfield; there’s also the comic book overload with “The Avengers.” And Will Smith returns to the big screen in “Men In Black 3.” But these are not the most anticipated movies of 2012.

“The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part II,” “Prometheus,” “The Hunger Games,” “The Hobbit” and “The Dark Knight Rises” are perhaps the top five films of 2012. They all have a cult following and are expected to take a huge chunk out of the box office. It’s no secret that “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2” is a box office phenomenon grossing more than $168 million opening weekend, but I’d argue two of the five films listed have a large chance of breaking that record again.

There has always been a back and forth debate over which franchise has a bigger fan base, “Twilight” or “Harry Potter.” That question won’t officially be answered until the final chapter “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part II” arrives in theaters on November 16, 2012. It’s the wedding that will change everything, the birth of a vampire baby and the ultimate battle between vampires, werewolves and humans will culminate. The books are a worldwide success, but the movies are becoming just as big and drawing more fans.

‘K-11′ Has No Kristen, But Big Brother Cameron is Game!

Kristen Stewart won't appear in "K-11," her mom's directorial debut, but big brother Cameron Stewart will, Variety's Josh L. Dickey exclusively reports. It'll be the first film credit for K-Stew's older sibling, but not for his co-stars Goran Visnjic, D.B. Sweeney and Portia Doubleday. The film stars Visnjic  as a successful young record producer who wakes up after a three-day binge in a special unit of L.A. County’s Men’s Central Jail that's dedicated to vulnerable prisoners, a place ruled by a viper transsexual. (Cameron Stewart will play an inmate named "Sledgehammer.") Though there was mass speculation that his kid sister of “Twilight” fame would also play a transgendered character,  she is not involved in the project, alas. Shooting started July 18 at locations in Woodland Hills and Hollywood, and has moved on to the now-closed Sybil Brand correctional facility for women in Los Angeles County.

Penn Badgley not set to play Jeff Buckley in biopic- Rob mention from film's co-producer!

New rumors swirling around the long-awaited Jeff Buckley biopic have falsely pitted actor Penn Badgley as the lead in the film about the late singer-songwriter. According to the film's co-producer, Orian Williams, the gossip surrounding the "Gossip Girl" star is compounded on further inaccuracies that "Twilight" heartthrob Robert Pattinson had been considered a shoe-in for the role of the enigmatic singer-songwriter.

"Penn is not involved in the film at all," Williams said in a phone interview. "It's crazy how these stories get out." When asked about Pattinson's involvement with the film, Williams said that although he's a fan of the British actor, he'd only had preliminary meetings with Pattinson, who was interested in auditioning for the film project, now almost six years in the making. Williams, along with producer Michelle Sy, casting director Billy Hopkins and executive producer Mary Guibert, Buckley's mother, are still seeking out actors for the casting process, which will likely begin in October, Williams said.

Most likely, the film will star an unknown actor who can portray Buckley without the weight of any preconceived Hollywood expectations, added Williams, who helped cast Sam Riley in the lead role of Ian Curtis in the 2007 biopic "Control" about the Joy Division front man. Williams said he's hoping to follow the same standards of finding someone with a low profile who can deliver Buckley's intense personality and haunting falsetto. "[The producers] are all very unified in our search to find the perfect person to play Jeff," Williams said.

Currently, the film is set to shoot in New York and Tennessee, where the story largely takes place. Though he rebuts rumors regarding the part of Buckley, Williams said that all kinds of actors and musicians have expressed interest in auditioning.

"When you have a story about an individual like Jeff you get a lot of interest because his life was so impactful and so short," Williams said.

Buckley was 30 when he drowned in May 1997 after deciding to go swimming in Wolf River Harbor, a slack water channel of the Mississippi River. News of a film about his life circulated as early as 2006, two years before Williams came to the project. Williams said that though the film has had a long gestation period, many measures have been taken to make sure that the foundation and intentions are authentic.

"We’re being very careful about it as we move forward," Williams said. “It takes a while to perfect this type of film. You’ve got to do it for the right reasons.”

You don’t need a magic mirror to know that this Brothers Grimm heroine is the fairest of all the storybook characters being recruited for the coming blizzard of live-action movies and TV series based on fairy tales. The raven-haired, ruby-lipped beauty figures prominently in ABC’s new fall series Once Upon a Time. Disney, whose 1937 animated masterpiece Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs remains the standard against which all others are measured, has a martial-arts makeover set in China in the wings.

But most of the attention has been focused on the saga of the two dueling Snow White movies that are set to awaken in theaters next year.

Where does Robert Pattinson begin and Edward Cullen end? At this point in the young "Twilight" thesp’s career it’s tough to separate the heartthrob actor from the heartthrob bloodsucker, but he’s currently making his second attempt at changing all that – after one false start with the disappointing "Remember Me" - with "Water for Elephants", the upcoming adaptation of Sara Gruen’s bestselling historical novel. In the film, Pattinson plays Jacob Jankowski, a circus veterinarian who gets involved in a messy love triangle with equestrian beauty Marlena (Reese Witherspoon) and her ruthless animal-trainer husband August ("Inglourious Basterds’" charming Christoph Waltz). 

Given the talent pedigree of the film, which was directed by "I Am Legend" helmer Francis Lawrence, it would seem a smart choice for Pattinson to take on the more “adult” role opposite Witherspoon and Waltz, though the actor certainly wasn’t about to admit to that kind of career calculation to a room full of image-burnishing journalists (he needs to stay “relatable”, after all). He’d rather have us believe he accepted the part merely for the opportunity to work with “Tai” (in the film she’s named ”Rosie”), the trained elephant who in the film is purchased by August to help boost his traveling show’s anemic ticket sales. 

“I basically decided to do the movie at that point”, said the elegantly-rumpled Pattinson of first meeting the pachyderm, who’d earlier been on display outside the swanky Fairmont Miramar Hotel in Santa Monica where the press conference was being held. “I hadn’t read the script or anything!”
