More Rumours: "On The Road" & "Cosmopolis" at Cannes Film Festival 2012?

With the board of directors of CFF renewing the mandates of the director and the general manager of the Cannes Film Festival, more rumours come up about "Cosmopolis" and "On The Road" being presented in Cannes next May.

"Even if it's a bit too early to know the progress of the different projects, some titles are already circulating in the press which is specialised on presentations at the Croisette next May.
[...]
As always for the American cinema, they wait for news on "Cosmopolis", the adaption of Don de Lillo's book by David Cronenberg, with Robert Pattinson and Sarah Gadon.
[...]
For the opening film they are placing bets on "Moonrise Kingdom" by Wes Anderson, with Bruce Willis, Edward Norton, Bill Murray and Tilda Swinton, whose French release coincides with the festival's opening day, May 16, or on Walter Salles' new film, "On The Road", adaption of the cult novel by Jack Kerouac."
