Rupert Sanders (director) and the script convinced you to accept the project? 
Kristen Stewart:  Definitely, Rupert and the script were transcendental. Charlize was also a solid pillar in accepting this project. Her name is well known above my own. So when I heard she was playing Queen, I decided that I wanted to be in this movie. One can read something fanstastic, but it can fall apart if it doesnt have other elements to support it. For me, knowing that Charlize was a part of it, meant I could be confident in this project.

Rupert was the one who brought darkness into the film?
KS: Yes, and its because these characters live in an incredibly dangerous world. The enviroment and the landscape are a character in their own. The use of the images( of the landspace) is always evocative. He(Rupert) has the capacity to see things in a very unqui way.

Kristen on evil and getting beat up: "When good overtakes evil, it just feels f---ing good."
"Rupert beat me up," Stewart jokes. "He definitely threw me off cliffs and made me trudge through frigid, icy waters. It looks cool, though. I can actually see the pain and discomfort and fear on my face. It's awesome."

Ruper Sanders on Kristen's bravery: Sanders definitely appreciated Stewart's perserverance. "What's great about Kristen is that it's one thing to be like, 'I'll jump off the building.' It's another thing to be s--- scared about jumping and then go ahead and do it," says the director. "She didn't want to ride horses, and ultimately, she rode in front of 200 horses galloping at full speed across the beach in front of an army. She's very brave."

Speaking of look, a true shock aesthetic is waiting for us in Pinewood's corridor when Snow White/Kristen Stewart heads to us wearing the medieval armor that she wears in the movie. "I didn't want to play a Disney-style heroine,says the actress directly. I mean, come on look at me, I'm more like Joan of Arc right? In our version, Snow White's a warrior." A warrior that spends almost the all time yomping in the forest next to a quiet huntsman (Chris Hemsworth, the handsome Thor) and bringing together an army to evict the queen of her kingdom. If you hoped a scene where she's baking an apple pie while humming Someday My Prince Will Come, you might wait a long time. " It's good 'cause when I was a kid, I was never dressed up as a princess. My thing was more Dracula", she says with a smile, aware of the impact that has that kind of statement when the world still see her as Bella Swan in Twilight.. "But we're not here to play differences game," she says just before she was going back to the set. Before you go see the movie, reread the Grimm's version and you'll see that we stayed very close to it."

 You're kind of an "it" girl at the moment. Are you glad you didn't get the role of Bella in Twilight?


Jennifer Lawrence:  No. I think that everything happens for a reason. Everything happened the way that it did, especially because I really like Kristen Stewart in the Twilight movies. I can’t really imagine anybody else doing it; I think she’s a great Bella. I’ve never really been disappointed about not getting anything. I mean, I was just with every actor in New York or LA auditioning for whatever’s out there. But I felt that whatever is meant to be, will happen. I actually had no idea what they were. When the movies came out, I went "Wow!"
