"I really like Kristen Stewart in the Twilight movies" - Jennifer Lawrence

loading You're kind of an "it" girl at the moment. Are you glad you didn't get the role of Bella in Twilight?

Jennifer Lawrence:  No. I think that everything happens for a reason. Everything happened the way that it did, especially because I really like Kristen Stewart in the Twilight movies. I can’t really imagine anybody else doing it; I think she’s a great Bella. I’ve never really been disappointed about not getting anything. I mean, I was just with every actor in New York or LA auditioning for whatever’s out there. But I felt that whatever is meant to be, will happen. I actually had no idea what they were. When the movies came out, I went "Wow!"

Jennifer Lawrence Mentions Kristen in Glamour Interview

loadingloading

But the former H and M model might have trouble making incognito high street shopping trips if she becomes as famous as Twilight star Kristen Stewart.
I look at Kristen Stewart now and I think, “I’d never want to be that famous”,’ she says. ‘I can’t imagine how I’d feel if all of a sudden my life was pandemonium.
‘But I love my job. I can take months off, and I get a lot of money – way more money than any 21-year-old should have – so what is there really to complain about?’

Joan Jett on Kristen: "She was extraordinary, it was great working with her"

loading

The story of the Runaways was shown in the 2010 movie, ‘The Runaways – The Girls of Rock” starring Kristen Stewart as Joan Jett. (“She was extraordinary, it was awesome working with her”, says the artist, who acted as executive producer in the film) and Dakota Fanning as Cherie Currie. For Joan, the main merit of the film was introducing the band to a new generation. “I think it showed to a lot of young girls that didn’t know. And I think it was one of the reasons why Kristen wanted to do the film.”

Daniel Cudmore Talks about Rob & Kristen

Ology Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart had been keeping mum on their relationship for years even though it was clearly obvious to Twilight fans that the two were an item. No more Team Edward and Bella jokes. It was and still is all about RPattz and KStew. The two tend to be quite shy during red carpet premieres but their affection toward one another has been quite different. Their Breaking Dawn co-star Daniel Cudmore, who plays Felix in the series, chatted with Ology about the two and how their relationship was handled on set. He was pretty reluctant at first but after hearing that the romance was finally confirmed he gave us a bit more detail.

"Yeah, they--did they come out about that? I don't know. Yeah, I don't know. It's funny because I think the whole time everyone--it doesn't matter who you are and where you are--when you see two people together you know," Cudmore said. "You could just tell whether or not they are in a relationship. But you know at the same time like it's not really any of our business to pry or poke and at the same time they just kept it very professional. So--and then obviously they are trying to hide it from everybody else."

Trying to hide a high-profile relationship from the public can be a struggle for any couple. So as Cudmore agrees, filming such a phenomenon like Breaking Dawn in Vancouver helped the cast stay grounded and ultimately helped in keeping the paparazzi away. "That's the tough thing, and I give kudos to the people on the top positions, because all of the things that they have to deal with on top of just trying to deliver on set every day and be the face of a franchise. I mean I couldn't imagine the pressure that they were going through with everything else on the side."

Stewart recently went public in November 2011 with the romance when she mistakingly told GQ UK that her "boyfriend is British." At the time of the photo shoot she didn't think that her response was a part of the actual interview.

Casey La Bow (Kate Denali in "Breaking Dawn") Talks about Kristen

Esme (Elizabeth Reaser) with the Denali sisters, Irina (Maggie Grace), Kate (Casey LaBow) and Tanya (MyAnna Buring)

AboutMovies How long were you actually on the set?

"Seven months. And I got a long stick - I mean Kristen [Stewart], I've got to hand it to that girl. She was like 10 months, six days a week. That's a lot of work."

DailyActor
"I was super in awe of Kristen. She is severely talented and professional and committed and cared a lot about what was happening. I think she did a 10-month shoot and she worked like 6-days a week? I gotta hand it to her. And she’s so young!"

Jonathan Kasdan Talks About Kristen

At 15:55 – He talks about the irony of “discovering” talent, such as Kristen Stewart (In the Land of Women), before they are “box office gold.”

"She is great!"

"I think one of most ironies of my career will be that I used all these kids that will become real box office's gold before they are box office's gold, so they can't help me not at all and they go on do great things."

"With Kristen [Stewart] was... The flip side of that equation is... when Kristen Stewart came to me to read "In The Land Of The Women", she was SOOO compelling that it was impossible to not look at her and said "This girl will gonna have a huge career in movies". She just irradiate that kind of life, energy and charisma that is undeniable! You don't have to be sophisticated to see what that is with Kristen!..."

Sam Claflin Talks about Music and Mutual Friends, Mentions Rob & Kristen

Sam Claflin is one of Kristen Stewart's two leading men in the upcoming Snow White and the Huntsman, which hits theaters June 1. We stopped by the London set of SWATH in October to sit down with the cast and crew and learn a little bit more about the highly anticipated dark retelling of a classic fairy tale. Sam, who plays Prince William in the film, is relatively new to the big screen after making his debut in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides last year. While on the SWATH set, Sam shared this cute story about having the same taste in music as Kristen and a connection they made through a favorite singer:

"There is a guy called Marcus Foster. Basically a guy played at my birthday, this sort of big musician who I love, and I went to go and see him at another gig, and supporting him was Marcus Foster. So, I went backstage and to meet Marcus, and he was telling me about this music video that he's about to do that Kristen [Stewart] had just starred in. Then when I saw Kristen next, I said, 'I can't believe you did that. You know him and he knows you, and he knows Rob [Pattinson].' So, again, it's all this small world. So namely him, but I think -- I have a feeling our sort of music tastes are very much in tune."

SWATH Costume Designer, Colleen Atwood Talks about Kristen

 (now in HQ)

Popsugar The puff sleeve is sort of reflected in Kristen’s costume, but that’s about it. The rest of it — she’s a totally different kind of character. She’s much less kind of princess-y and more kind of a badass girl. I just showed her the stuff and she was really into it. She loved the armor and all the other bits that she has, it was — she’s really not obsessed with clothes at this point in her career. She’s young and free from that obsession, and in her work previous she hasn’t worn those presentational costumes, so it’s kind of new for her. She’s got a great presence as an actor and you put a costume on somebody that really knows how to wear it and it becomes really strong and kind of scary.

Chris Hemsworth Talks about SWATH and Kristen

We’re standing right behind the monitors in “video village”.  Behind us, on public land, curious couples push baby strollers on a path and wonder what’s shooting.
Kristen and Chris are now watching the playback footage on the monitors and she, wearing a warm black parka over her scoop-necked, short leather Snow White tunic and leather pants, is apologizing for the accidental punch. Chris, face swelling, is very cool about it and both stars are laughing.  Chris, in a great weathered, brown leather outfit, is swarmed by make-up people trying to make him look even more rugged and dirty… yum!
Here he comes. We’re standing in a mud puddle due to recent rain and we don’t care. We see a slight bruise starting on that handsome face and Chris mumbles that his nose is running. Ah, the joys of modern filmmaking!

Kidzworld: You got punched.
Chris: Well you can see that it’s swelling going up my nose.

Kidzworld: Did Kristen do that?
Chris: We misjudged one and I head-butted her fist with my nose which didn’t turn out too well for me.

Booboo Stewart Talks About Kristen

loading
To my most pressing question -- does Kristen Stewart ever smile? -- Booboo laughed so hard that, had he been drinking Coke at the time, it would have come out his nose.
"Yes, she does! I think she might get nervous when she gets in front of people," he suggested, sweetheart that he is. "It's gotta be really hard to be her." God, yes, saddled with money, a cute boyfriend (Pattinson) and designers begging her to wear their frocks.
"She's just really nice," Booboo continued. "I remember one day, she wanted to play patty-cake -- and because of my sisters, I knew how to play the game, so I played it with her."

Details about Kristen's Transformation in Breaking Dawn

Kristen/Bella BTS - DVD Extra Watch HERE

Interesting details from Trevor Hogg's interview with visual effects supervisors John Bruno, Phil Tippett, Edson Williams and Bruce Woloshyn about the making of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1...

“Bella [Kristen Stewart] gets married, has vampire sex, becomes pregnant, loses 30 pounds, gets sick, is close to dying, they forcibly get the baby out of her, she dies and comes back as a vampire in Part One; in Part Two, we get to experience everything that happens to her as a vampire. I thought, ‘Well, that’s different. I like this." recalls American Visual Effects Supervisor John Bruno.

Matters become worse for the pregnant lead character. “Bella is screaming because the baby is breaking her bones and she collapses to the floor; they throw her onto a gurney and take the baby out. It’s bloody,” recounts John Bruno. “The only thing we didn’t do in the book was to have blood spewing everywhere.”

“Renesmee was based on the performances of over 30 babies captured using the Lola projection rig,” remarks Edson Williams. “We ended up using small bits and pieces of about 5 of these babies to created the final look, like a patchwork quilt Franken Baby. The eyes were CG and based on the actual eyes of baby Kristen Stewart.”

Helping the visual effects supervisor was the courageous support of the lead actress. “Kristen was a great sport. What we’re saying to her is, ‘We’re going to make you look not good.’ As an actress her whole thing is about beauty and looking great; what we were going to do was beyond her control and she let us do it.”

“There’s a point where Edward thinks she dies; he takes out a big horse syringe full of vampire venom and stabs her in the heart. We did that as a medium-wide shot. When the film went out for ratings Bill called me and said, ‘We’ve got an R rating.’ I went, ‘Oh that means I’ve got to lose my favourite scene.’ The whole idea was that if you go through vampire lore you stab them through the heart to kill them but this was stabbing Bella through the heart to revive her. He said, ‘No, all the blood, and birth is fine. We have to cut back the sex scenes.’”
