Bryce Dallas Howard Talks About Filming With Rob

How much fun was it starring with Robert Pattinson in Twilight?

It was fantastic. I love the Twilight books and I’m technically a “Twi-hard”. There was some great action including a massive battle at the end of the latest film where Rob Pattinson and I face off and I dislocated my wrist. But the most scary thing fighting Robert Pattinson was: “God forbid I hit his face. Teenage girls would never forgive me.

Twilight #2, Eclipse #3 and Breaking Dawn #30 at Glamour UK's 50 Hottest Movie Moments

#2 Twilight

She was an ordinary schoolgirl, he a 109-year-old vampire Adonis. Their forbidden love (not to mention the fact he may drain her any minute) only served to heighten the tension of the moment their lips finally met. Swoon.

Of course, R-Patz couldn’t have all the fun, and by the third Twilight flick, werewolf Jacob had his hairy paws on Bella too. Their on-screen, lust-filled smooch was the culmination of months of sexual tension ‘tween the best friends and even had fans questioning their obvious chemistry. Rob who?

Kristen and Tay? Whaaaaaaaat?! :(

We’ve seen enough teasing on-set shots and heard enough tempting backstage gossip to know that the final Twilight instalment is set to be the steamiest yet. And if you’ve read the books, you know what we’re talking about… We can only hope that Edward gives enough shirtless action to live up to our expectations. It’s a given that Jake will.

5 Minutes With "New Moon" & "Eclipse" Make-Up Artist Leslie Graham

It’s been a big few years for makeup artist Leslie Graham. Not only has she made up some of the biggest names in the biz (Tyra Banks and Jamie-Lee Curtis to name a few) she was also responsible for the makeup looks for the vampires on The Twilight Saga: New Moon and Eclipse, Sucker Punch andTron: Legacy with pal and mentor Rosalina Da Silva. We were lucky enough to catch up with Leslie to talk vampires and the inspiration behind her favourite beauty looks.

BellaSugar: You created some of the looks for the vampires in New Moonand Eclipse — who did you look after and what were the key products you used to create their looks?

Leslie Graham: For New Moon I was brought in to be a personal makeup artist for actor Jamie Campbell Bower, who played the role of Caius (one of the leaders of the Voluturi). For Eclipse I did the makeup for all of the Wolfpack [Alex Meraz, Julia Jones and Chaske Spencer], Jodelle Ferland and some of the newborn vampires. On set I would take care of Dakota and the other Volturi. We did a lot of air-brushing using MAC Micronized Airbrushed Formula to give the “onion” skin tone. It has a little silicone in it, which works to keep the makeup in place as we were often working in the woods and in the rain — vampires in the rain can be quite difficult!

'Eclipse' is the 2nd Most Profitable Film in 2010

There are other movies who brought in big box office dollars, but because they cost so much more to make. In other words they flopped or barely broke even. A lot of small budget movies raked in megaprofit when they landed in the top 100 films of the year. Two examples were from Summit Entertainment: Letters to Juliet and Remember Me
What’s interesting is to look at the box office totals for the above movies. Alice in Wonderland and Toy Story 3 are the only two that came in ahead of Eclipse. Harry Potter’s box office run has not yet closed out; however given it’s rate of intake it’s not likely to overtake Eclipse.

'The Twilight Saga: Eclipse' DVD/Blu-Ray sales surpass seven million units

As you know, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse on DVD and Blu-Ray hit shelves on December 4th. Right away - in other words, on opening weekend - the Eclipse DVD/Blu-Ray sold over three million units.

These numbers were comparable to opening sales figures for both the Twilight and New Moon DVDs (three and four million respectively), but Home Media Magazine quoted a Summit Entertainment rep to state: "With the first two titles, we had massive March opening events involving thousands of retail stores . . . We were going for a big bang, right out of the gate. This time we are releasing the film during the holiday season, a much more crowded time and one with vastly different consumer shopping patterns. So our whole plan is to look at what we're doing over a four-week period of time, and not a single night."

Well, according to The Numbers, after four weeks (up to the week of December 26th), over seven million Eclipse DVDs and Blu-Rays have been sold (7,111,305 to be exact).

In 2010, 7,829,281 The Twilight Saga: New Moon DVDs and Blu-Rays were sold, after having been released on March 20th. So, Eclipse's DVD sales were almost as strong as New Moon's in just four weeks time.

Eclipse was the fifth most-sold DVD in 2010, and New Moon was the third. In 2009, Twilight sold over 10 million copies. Twilight also had a March DVD/Blu-Ray release date. So, it should be interesting to see how many total units are sold for Eclipse. At this rate, Eclipse will likely trump both of the prior films in home entertainment sales

'The Twilight Saga' Dominates the Swiss Year End's Charts (Books & DVDs)

A few years ago it was Joanne K. Rowling with her Harry Potter books, nowadays it's Stephenie Meyer with her vampire books. She came in the first two ranks of the Year's Besteller List of children's books.

"New Moon" (released on April 15th) comes in the third rank of the Year's Most Sold DVDs and "Eclipse" comes in the tenth rank, even though it's only been released on December 2nd.

Box Office Champions of 2010

Total gross: $300,531,751

Best quote: “This wasn’t a choice between you and Jacob. It was between who I should be and who I am. I’ve always felt out of step. Like literally stumbling through my life. I’ve never felt normal, because I’m not normal, and I don’t wanna be. I’ve had to face death and loss and pain in your world, but I’ve also never felt stronger, like more real, more myself, because it’s my world too. It’s where I belong.” — Bella (Kristen Stewart)

BuzzSugar's Best Movie Kissed of 2010

Bella and Edward, Eclipse
Bella and Edward get particularly grope-y, as she tries to convince him to sleep with her. We definitely didn’t see this much action in the first two Twilight films!

Ally and Tyler, Remember Me
Tyler gives Ally a morning-after kiss to remember him by (get it?).
